Theatre News Roundup: 9/2-9/3

Ooh, I am feeling some aches and pains after doing yoga for the first time in years. Still, it was a great, unique experience to be a part of this sea of white in Central Park. No posturing. No judgment. Just commitment and love and generosity. If I close my eyes I can still place myself on the mat during the cool down period, the grass prickling against my arms, imagining that I could feel the curve of the earth embracing me, staring up at the unobstructed blue sky, so expansive that it felt like it could just swallow me up. Thank you for allowing me this indulgence. I don't have New Age-y/hippie sentiments very often but sometimes special things can happen when you give yourself over to a different perspective.
