I had a great time this afternoon at Of Good Stock. I didn't know what to expect. I wouldn't say I went in with low expectations but I was open to being disappointed. I actually found it to be a very good play. Thoughts to come. There was a slight twinge of misogyny and little bits of the writing that felt artificial and took me out of the moment but other than those small complaints I found myself very much charmed and entertained. The entire cast was fantastic and I really liked the set design. Spare and sparse stagings are all well and good but sometimes it's nice to really feel immersed in the world of a show.
